Every month, there will be two winners who will receive a $500 prize. Each winner is the one who gets the highest points in one of two categories: the Voter’s Choice category, with the winner determined by the number of likes from PUG members on the 2020 Design Users Group facebook page; and the Expert Category, with the winner determined by expert PUG members.
Nelson Cabinetry will award $500 to the winner in each of the two categories.
Eligibility:
Any member of the 2020 Design Users Group on facebook is welcome to apply. There is no purchase required to enter the contest. Employees or affiliates of 2020 Design are not eligible to participate in the contest. Nelson Cabinetry reserves the right to refuse any entry. The purchase of any “likes” or “shares” is not allowed and constitutes the basis for disqualification. Only one entry is allowed per contest.Designs must be the original creations of the contest participant.
How to enter:
Send an image of your design to info@nelsonkb.com with the subject heading as 2020VISION.
Your email message should include your full name, employer, telephone number, and preferred email address. It should also include a description of your design and some information about the design process.
Contest Procedure:
The deadline every month for entering the contest is DAY OF THE MONTH. Entries received after this deadline will not be eligible for that particular month’s contest, but may be submitted again for the following month. Nelson Cabinetry will then post the participants’ entries on LOCATION OF POSTING CONTEST IMAGES for a period of HOW MANY DAYS so 2020 Design Users Group members can vote for them by “liking” the images, and whichever entry receives the most “likes” will be the winner of the Voter’s Choice category.
A panel comprised of PUGs experts will determine the winner of the Expert Category, basing their decision on the criteria of CRITERIA SUCH AS STYLE, FUNCTIONALITY, ORIGINALITY.
Nelson Cabinetry will announce the winners in each category on the DAY of the month on the PUG facebook page. Winners will be notified separately in a congratulatory email.
Winners will be asked to submit a KIT file and Item Report in addition to a description of how they have benefitted from being members of the PUG facebook group. Winners will be responsible for paying any taxes on their winnings.
Nelson Cabinetry is not responsible for any damages, liabilities, or costs that may arise from participation in the contest and reserves the right to cancel the contest at any time. Nelson Cabinetry likewise reserves the right to refuse any entry, and in this instance will provide the disqualified contest participant with an explanation for refusal of the entry. By submitting the entry, participants grant Nelson Cabinetry and its sponsors the exclusive, irrevocable, perpetual, and royalty-free right to use the participant’s name, project description, direct quotes, and submission image for marketing purposes, including advertisements, promotional activities, and news releases, without any notice or compensation.
By submitting an entry, participants agree with all of the rules and regulations outlined above.
The contest is sponsored by Nelson Cabinetry and is governed by these rules and regulations. The contest is subject to all federal, state, provincial, municipal, and local laws and regulations and is voice where prohibited. Prizes are non-transferable. Nelson Cabinery reserves the right to terminate, cancel, or suspend this contest without notice, and for any reason.
