A slab door is a simple design that consists of a single slab with no extra ornamentation. Unlike recessed panel or raised panel doors, a slab door has a surface that is entirely flush, which fits well especially with rustic or industrial designs. Slab doors are an especially desirable option for showing off the qualities of the wood, since there is no extra decoration to distract from the grain, color, or other unique features of the wood.
