Laminate

Generally speaking, laminated materials are covered in a layer of plastic or another material that protects them from damage. Laminate flooring mimics the appearance of wood while generally being easier to maintain. Laminate cabinets feature laminate that is attached over the exterior surfaces, while the inside of the cabinets remain largely unchanged.
