There are many different kinds of hinges for doors, but generally speaking, a hinge consists of two main leaves. Each leaf is attached to one piece of wood and the two pieces of wood are joined by the hinge, which has a central, mobile articulation. Hinges may be visible and incorporated into the overall kitchen design or concealed for a sleek, streamlined look.
