Engineered Wood

Engineered wood is a manmade material that is comprised of wood fibers, plastic, and adhesive. It is created in a factory by pressing the materials together, which results in boards of engineered wood that are comparable to natural hardwood in terms of strength and durability. Engineered wood, also called composite wood, is generally more resistant to moisture than natural woods and for this reason is especially valued for outdoor applications.
