A drawer base cabinet is an essential element of kitchen cabinetry that features a series of drawers. Other base cabinets may have shelves for storing appliances and food, while drawers are generally used first and foremost for utensils and silverware. It is possible to convert existing base cabinet shelves to drawers, which can sometimes prove to be more convenient or accessible than shelves.
