A circular saw is a power saw with a rapidly-rotating disk. This disk can be toothed or abrasive, depending on the material to be cut. Such materials include wood, metal, or plastic. In woodworking, the circular saws used are hand-held, which are also sometimes referred to as “Skil saws.”
